Last week, Goole’s two Young Enterprise businesses attended their first Company Workshop of the year, held in Walkington.
The event was an opportunity for groups to develop their ideas around their products, ensure they included key targets that the Young Enterprise charity has launched for this academic year (Sustainability, Digital Management), and meet other participants. It was also a chance for the groups to test their ideas in a friendly competition.
Given a coat hanger, and twenty minutes, all groups had to come up with a product, and pitch it to the judges (two members of the Humber Board for Young Enterprise).
Goole’s two Yr10 groups were up against private school sixth form students, and the final decision came between the two groups from Goole!!
A brilliant start for the young entrepreneurs who represented the school fantastically!
