Get Goole Gleaming!

A group of motivated students came together with Mr Nicoline and Councillor Anne Handley to get Goole gleaming!

The council-organised Goole Clean-Up on Pasture Road, The Avenues and Malbrough Avenue was a massive success, and our students really did themselves & Goole Academy proud! Mr Nicoline said “it was a fantastic morning and the students were outstanding. They made me feel proud and they represented themselves with a brilliant attitude and work ethic.”

In just two hours, our students collected 15 black bags of rubbish, as well as three Tesco trollies!

Mr Harrison said “Our rewards system includes Pledges which allow students to achieve awards, by working within the local community.  It is a great first step for Goole Academy, the local community and council to work in partnership on local projects. The students here are the future of Goole and I believe they will make a positive contribution to this town”.

What a fantastic achievement from our students.
