On Wednesday, a group of our engineering students headed out of school to compete in the BA Systems Engineering Competition!
Their challenge was a Dragons Den style competition in which they had to design and make a prototype emergency rescue vehicle and then pitch their idea to the dragons.
The day was challenging yet fun and the Y9 team done the school proud with their presentation and their teamwork.
Unfortunately, no funding from the dragons on this occasion but the employability skills the team developed will stand them a good position in the future.
Teamwork, creativity, resilience, perseverance, and problem solving were just a few of the skills that blossomed throughout the day.
Well done for your efforts team and a big well done to Xenia for being a great leader!
